Gift Deed at landing

Hello Seniors/ fellow members with similar experience,

Can someone please let me know how should the funds be shown at POE (if shown through gift deed from my father during the application process)?
As in, Do I need to transfer that whole amount to my personal account or I can show my fathers account statement (showing the funds) along with the deed to the official as a proof of sufficient fund?

You have to transfer the funds to your account, because YOU are supposed to show proof that YOU have the funds. The funds should be on your account. You may carry the deed just in case, but do not keep it near your bank statement/proof of funds - do not expose it. Exposing it may create a whole new conversation with the IO, so only provide proof that YOU have the funds, which is a statement of YOUR account/bank draft/cash etc.
