Pls tell how CHC verify the GIC certificate submitted along with visa application. Is it by phone or scotia bank sends another copy to CHC for verification

scotia bank will email you a GIC Certificate after you deposit the money. then, you will have to attach copy of this certificate with your VISA application

no they will not send anything to CIC , only behalf of ur GIC certificate CIC will process ur case .

Not Always...!
If they find any mistake in your GIC they call to Scotia Bank to correct it!!
Because i see many cases in which wrong information wrote on GIC..if you want any correction in GIC they made it but they did not give new GIC to you just respond to CIC...!

As there is a problem in my GIC that is they gave written punjab instead of Himachal Pradesh and I also sent them a email for correction and they replied me that correction has been made and attach this email along with ur GIC and submit it along with ur visa application

Don't Worry!!! This is not a crusial mistake,also you have made correction.
