GIC transfer takes upto 8 weeks???

are you talking about refund of GIC incase of withdrawal from course of visa refusal?
I myself got GIC opened and it took just 1 working day bro. In peak semester season it could take between 8-10 Working days but surely not 8 Weeks ... however refund could take between 6-8 weeks... Hope this helps a bit.
