i transfered 10100 cad on 14 th of nov ...

did any 1 transfer on the same day??if yes...did u recive the conformation letter??

i called up 00080...tollfree ....num they say that that money hasn't been credited yet...
.
i've sent mail to studentgic@scotiabank.com on 20th of nov i havent got any reply yet .

i asked my bank to put swift tracker today.....!!

how much we have to transfer ?? is der any extra charges applied??

as visa last date is on 29th of nov....what am i suppose to do??



pleaseeeeeeeee help...!!

By Tuesday they receive ur fund. even my fund was received on 22 Nov. I had transfered on 11 Nov. keep paitence. I was also worried about the delay

i transferred funds on 21st November and on the same same day i mailed them the transfer receipt...... when can i expect my certificate

I cant tell about it but wait until 28 nov if u do not receive ur GIC certificate then file vd swift copy on 29 nov

If we didn't receive GIC by 28, shall we file swift copy alone?
Does the copy need bank manager's attestation?
Or is any bank official's certification on theeir letter head necessary?

I transferred on nov 18. I am also waiting for my GIC.

Yes, we can file with swift copy alone. I dont think it needs bank manager attestation. I transferred on 11th, still waiting.

From the looks of it, everyone here is getting their GIC atleast after 10 working days, so chances of you receiving GIC are slim. You should be prepared to file for visa using using Swift Copy.

Most probably NO, people have got visa with swift copy alone. Moreover, in the SPP checklist, its mentioned they need "evidence of purchase of GIC", so Swift Copy definitely is an evidence of purchase of GIC.
 
you are not joking na swear i am very afraid abt gic by reading ur post i am lill bit happy but i dint see any evidence of ic anywhere on net

Sorry about the use of word evidence, take a look at this, they are saying we must demostrate the purchase of GIC. I beleive Swift Copy counts as demostration of purchase of GIC. Guys are using the term TT receipt of wire transfer. Is it the same as swift copy of what we are talking about? What do they mean by TT?

TT stands for "telegraphic transfer" , its same as wire transfer. TT receipt is swift copy.
