I have transferred 10200 CAD on 4th July and just to check when I called on 5th July , the customer care guy kept me on hold for more than 30 mnts and confirmed amount received in account and also congratulated me on the same stating I will receive my GIC certificate in 5 hours which I have not received as yet .
I need to apply for my student visa as orientation at Dal University starts on 26 Aug and my ticket is booked for 23 Aug. I am travelling alone ..my papers are all in order and ready but I am just worried about the visa coming on time for me to fly out and attend the orientation .
Can someone please assist as without GIC certificate we cannot apply for Visa and the Swift wire transfer details don't suffice .. can this procedure be a little more lenient for students as the wore transfer details if match with the accurate bank account number and passport number plus name as per passport, should be enough a proof that money has been sent
Please assist as the last days with family get into a tension mode for all members
