GIC amount and transfer process

Hi guys please tell me if anyone has any idea about how much is needed for GIC bcoz i transferred CAD10,300 through SBI overseas branch and only CAD10,052 is being reflected in my GIC investment direction that i got from receiving bank. SBI guys told me to add atleast 80CAD to 10,200 so that intermediary bank charges are met so that my transfer is succesful but i have no idea where the 200CAD had gone.Has anyone faced this situation if so please share info. I heard that receiving bank deducts 200cad but only after we enter canada so where did 200cad go?

If you transfered your money to Nova Scotia than they cut $200 as GIC program fees automatically
