Getting work permit under NAFTA

Hello!

I am a US citizen and I want to move to Toronto. Currently, I am a freelance graphic designer and one of my bigger firms is located in Montreal. My employer there has offered to hire me and sponsor me so I can try and make the move. Because Graphic Design is one of the fields under the NAFTA agreement, I imagine this is the easier route to take.

I have a few concerns, though:

1. My degree isn't strictly in Graphic Design, but in a closely related field. This degree/program can definitely be used to be a graphic designer. Do you think my degree not having the same name would cause a huge issue when applying for a work permit under NAFTA? I have also worked as a graphic designer for a couple of years and showing that I have professional experience may help.

2. I want to move to Ontario, but my employed is based in Quebec. Will my employer being from a different province cause an issue?

Any advice/help is appreciated it.
Thanks!

Anyone have any advice on this? Tried to contact CIC but I have no idea how to get connected to an agent.

Very much appreciated!
