getting trv @ the border ( rainbow bridge)

Just wondering if my friend would be able to get trv @ the border. She got USA visa and wondering if we could apply on the spot for a trv.

Has anyone tried this?

No, all applications should go through normal processing. No shortcuts.

ok I kinda figured that. Does she need to travel to USA and return or just by having USA visa without ever flying there is good enough when applying for TRV?

Please give more detail on the applicant: where is she from? where is she now? what visas does she have? what is the intent of the trip? what is her status? etc.

She applied in the spring was denied trv. (purpose of visit)
she's in Ukraine and living there. I talked to many people and seems Ukranians are kinda blocked from getting visas to Canada. Only a few are able to get in. Even people with tons of cash and property and everything else is Legit. She had Euro visa a few times and now currently has a Euro visa for 2 years. Just applied and got USA visa. Not sure what to do. Marry her and wait the 2-3 years before she's able to get here or apply for another TRV with good chances of her getting denied.

I wouldn't know about Ukranians.... but I have met quite a few around, so seems it is not that hard. Anyway....

She needs to apply through the normal process. What is relevant here is that she has a USA Visa and that does count towards a TRV (Canada likes to see other countries "trust" her). I would certainly recommend that you both travel to the USA, stay there 2-3 weeks as a vacations.
