Getting TRV for inland application without being untruthful

Hi guys,

I am sorry if this has been asked before, but me and my fiance plan on moving to Canada (we have been saving and planning for a few years now). We are considering inland since proving intent to return to Canada can be daunting (so I've read).

My question - if I apply for a TRV, I want to be completely honest about my intentions. Is there a specific method to do this? I don't want to lie and get flagged or something. I plan on landing with my fiance, and apply inland with an OWP immediately.

I am getting a bit pessimistic because I cannot seem to understand how inland or OWP applications are allowed, but we are not allowed to get into the country without being untruthful. I hope someone can shed some light, as I cannot get on a plane and still have a job in my current country for example.

Is there any alternative? We do not want to be apart (for financial and personal reasons), so an outland application is kind of last resort at the moment.

Hi, i wanna help you but you need to be more specific, as the details are not very clear...

At the beginning you say " ...since proving intent to return to Canada can be daunting (so I've read)." What do you mean ?
Are you going to be the sponsor ? I assume you're Canadian right ?
