getting to canada

So my husband finaly got his PR for Canada. We are moving in three weeks, (we have to be there by the 19th of october). Since the beginning of the process I realized my Canadian passport was expired, but after numerous times i was told I didn't need it, I decided to wait to get it renewed in Canada instead of Tel Aviv (where i currently live).
my israeli passport is fine but i only have old canadian passports. is it okay to enter canada with my israeli passport? and will it cause problems for my husband? (I am his sponsor).
Any advice would be welcome

Do you need a visa to travel to Canada using an Israeli passport?

I am not sure if your previous passports will suffice to get the airlines to allow you on the airplane if your Israeli passport requires a visa to visit.

That is the only issue I can see for you in this instance. Canada will allow you in, I am assuming you are a dual citizen here, even with an expired passport.
