Hi,

Can anyone please suggest the fastest way to get a PR when someone's brother is a citizen of Canada. My brother is a citizen but doesn't live there anymore. He is back home now.

One of the ways I can think of is getting a PR for my mom/dad and then getting PR through them. Please suggest if this is viable. Also, how much time would this take ?

Thanks in advance,
Rohan Gupta.

How do you propose that your parents get PR in the first place?
Even if they did, you would probably not be eligible to be sponsored.
So, I suspect that this is "not viable".

You can't get PR through your brother. You'll have to qualify independently.

Your brother would have to return to Canada and live in Canada in order to sponsor your parents for PR. However even if you parents got PR, they would not be able to sponsor you since you are no longer their dependent.

So again, if you want to immigrate, you'll need to qualify independently.
