Hello, I just started working in Montreal with a closed work permit that my company got me. This permit has the restriction of me having to live in Montreal. However, I am interested in living in Calgary, as that is where my family currently is. I have also been in the Express Entry pool since the beginning of the year, but haven't gotten an invitation yet. My questions are the following:
- Can I use my job offer to gain points in my Express Entry profile? I would assume so, however in this page it says:
" Your job offer must:
Since I got a permit with this offer, does that mean I cannot reuse it in my EE profile?
- If I can use it in my profile, is it okay that it is a job offer in Quebec? I know for Quebec PR I also need CSQ. However, like I mentioned, I do not intend to stay in Quebec.
- Can I use my job offer to gain points in my Express Entry profile? I would assume so, however in this page it says:

- be recent (usually less than 1 year old)
- You can’t use the same job offer letter that you used to get your work permit.
