Hi,

So, my partner is a Canadian Citizen and we are living together in Quebec. I need an open work permit. Is there any way that I can apply for one since we are in a common law relationship for 1 year now. I am here as a visitor.

Is there any category I can apply through Quebec or do I have to do it on the Canadian Immigration website?

No - you don't qualify for an open work permit just based on being in a common law relationship with a Canadian.

To qualify for one, your common law partner would have to sponsor you for permanent residency using the inland sponsorship process. You would include an open work permit with the application. The open work permit will be approved approximately four months after the complete application is submitted.
