Hello!
I am trying to get my best friend to come visit me in Canada from Nicaragua and practice his English. We are going over most of the forms and everything seems to be ok besides the financial situation. Nicaragua is a poor country and although my friend is working as a mechanic full time, 10$ a day will not be enough to prove to our gov that he will support himself. The plan is that he will come for 3 months and I will cover most of the costs as I work and have savings.
Furthermore he has no bank account because he gets paid cash daily and has little trust in investing in the bank due to the political situation.
Is there still a possibility he will be accepted for the 3 months? He has his whole family here, his job and his home where he pays rent.
Thank you!!!

Zero chance this gets approved, sorry, and I don’t think there’s anything you can do to help.

- He does not have the funds/has to depend on you to fund his trip...this is what totally kills his chances. To get a good chance of approval, he has to show he can afford the trip himself and a good quality of life
- individual and political/economic Situation in Nicaragua
- 3 months stay is very long and shows his lack of ties to his home country
- Learning English is a poor excuse to visit Canada
- Mechanic background...he may be suspected of going on the trip as trying to find a job offer in Canada
