Hi.

I am officially a permanent resident of Canada now and I am planning to get married this year. Probably by April. Will there be any consequences or problem in the near future if I get married as soon as I got my PR? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Maris

you are permanent resident now, you partner is Canadian o PR?
where are you going to get married? in Canada?
If your partner is not Canadian nor PR, you need help
If your are going to get married outside Canada, you need help, you should have got married prior to become PR

Getting married after becoming a PR is not a problem and not an issue.

If you are Permanent Resident (PR) in Canada, and your spouse is not a Canadian Citizen or PR in Canada, you could sponsor your wife for PR after your marriage.
