Hi, I’m currently looking into some phd program in Canada but I’m worried if there’s any chance I would get accepted due to my low GPA. Here’s a little bit of my background:
I earned my Pharm D. Degree in the US with total GPA 3.0 (including prerequisites).
During my school years, I worked as a formulation research assistant (paid internship) for two years. After graduation, I came back to Japan and am working for a pharma company as well, but not in research.
I’ve been interested in pharmacokinetic research since I was in school, but getting a phd degree wasn’t in my mind back then.....I worked a lot in order to support my family and didn’t really care about my grades.
Now, if any of you have similar experience and been accepted to a phd program in Canada, I’d be very much appreciated if you could give me some advice. Thanks!
