Getting a visitor visa from within Canada---please help.

Hello everyone.

Living In Toronto.

Im Polish and I am in Canada since 2012 June as visitor visa.MY VV expires at 9 June 2013.
Right now I found employer and he just started LMO procedure.
Throught 1 year I will be low skilled position then after year Im going to high skill.Need Canadian Experience.
He put advertise to local media cdn..
Probably all of this papers for LMO will come later than my VV so I need to extend it.
He wants me to move to Alberta before my visa will expire and wait for LMO and WP.
So here is my story.

My girlfriend shes here for Temporary Work Permit (YMP) which is valid till 9 June 2013.
Shes my Common Law Partner (we are 1.5 year together)
Shed like to stay in Canada and now we are thinking what we should do.
Should we apply for " visitor visa from within Canada" or just old one visitor visa?
If we can apply for "visitor visa from within Canada" is she can put me as Common Law Partner and Ill get extension of my visa?
Or maybe I have to apply for extended visa for me as well?.
Ill be grateful for answers.

How did you get a 12 months visitor visa? Did you already apply for an extension?

You can apply or an extension as visitor. I have never heard of "visitor visa from within canada" Im pretty sure you need the form" applying for extension of my stay,change of status or remain in canada as visitor ".

I am pretty sure you and her have to apply for seperate visas.
I suggest you apply online for a visitor extension as soon as possible. Its recommended to do so at least 30 days before your current visa runs out.
