Hello everyone, I am currently a US citizen beginning my journey to Canadian PR status. I can see that there seem to be plenty of computer science jobs available. But what are the chances for a foreigner getting into other science jobs? I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Biology and about 5 years of experience between biology and chemistry professions (mostly chemistry). My NOC codes are along the lines of 2211, 2221, 2121, and 2112. I plan on getting a master's once in Canada to widen my options, but as far as starting out... should I keep my hopes low of working in science and stick to "survival jobs" until my Master's is complete? Does anyone have any first hand experience with how their luck was with getting a science job as a new PR?
