Getting a driver's license in Alberta as an International Student

Hello! Does anyone know if I could apply to get a driver's license/ learner's permit in Alberta as an international student? I am starting from scratch and do not have any sort of driving license from my home country. I just turned 18 and my family has an extra car so I wondered if I could get a license:33
