Get a PCC Letter in India

I was in Canada for last 14 months or so and I recently came back to India. Since I was not here in India for last one year,what is the way to get a PCC in India. Basically what I can show in proof of my present address? Please note my permanent and present address (where I work and planning to file PR from) are different.

If anyone faced similar situations please advise.

Just go into Local Police Station and apply for PCC, They do not need much doc , Just need copy of passport of Election i card .
For mine case they issued easily , You Know how it works in India ;D
