I recently got married to a citizen of Canada. I reside outside Canada and I intend to bring 3 persons to canada my Mother, sister and brother.

Now question 2 on the generic application form states how many family members will I include in the application including myself?

I want to ask is it four (4)persons to be included? because am confused.

You cannot include your mother, brother or sister in the application as dependents. Only you can migrate to Canada as part of the spousal sponsorship application. So you only include yourself in the application as a person who is immigrating to Canada.

There may be options to sponsor your mother later after you have moved to Canada and once you are making enough money to qualify. If your brother and sister are under the age of 22 when you sponsor your mother for PR, you can include them as dependents in your mother's application. Otherwise they will need to qualify on their own and will need to find a way to come to Canada without your support.
