A few questions ABOUT IMM 0008

1. it asks for total number of family members included in the app whether they come or not. (My kids are 21 and 24 and not dependent-I wouldn't include them, Correct?) ??? Or do I include them just for this section? It says at the bottom of the instructions that if I don't include them now that I can't sponsor in the future. I don't see that they would want to come, but in doing this, would I just be providing the info or do they take my husband through the full screening process for them too if added?

2. It asks what current country of residence (QUESTION 10) (Do I fill this out?) (We got married almost 4 months ago-and I haven't returned to the US-I plan to extend my stay through the outbound process) OR DO I FILL OUT THE VERY NEXT QUESTION THAT IS- date and place of last entry into Canada... (I can't fill out both-and I haven't yet extended my stay..that will happen 30 days prior-and will send near same time as our package for immigration.

3. Can I use his address for mailing and current address (we will include email) or do you not do this if I'm only extending my stay?

thank you for the answers in advanced.

No, it is incorrect. They are your family members forever. They just do not accompany you to Canada.
2.

I would say your country of residence is where you are right now. But could you clear what US is doing with your immigration to Canada?
3.

it should be an email address which you can reach. If it is your husband's email address then he is your representative and you have to fill the form "Use of representative" and all corespondence will go to and through him.
They state there if you write an email address in the form CIC will not correspond with you by mail but ONLY through email.

Are you residing with your husband in Canada right now? If so, use that address as your residential and mailing address. It doesn't matter. In the eyes of the CIC, you are living with him as a visitor. And yes, you can fill out the date and place of your last entry into Canada. Put the "to" date as the day your status expires (6 months after you entered most likely).

1. Your children are NOT included in the app. They are not dependents and you will not be able to sponsor them. You only need to list them on the Additional Family form and on your spouse's Sponsorship Evaluation.

2. It's not either/or; you need to answer both questions. Put your country of residence as Canada and list your entry details.

3. Yes, you can use your current Canadian address in the app for both mailing and residential.
