General question regarding work experience

Hi guys,
I have a few questions regarding work experience, I'm really confused about them so please help if you can.
I'm about to apply express entry but I'm not sure about my work experience.
They said that work experience should be continuous in my case i have two 2.5 years experience with a year of gap between them. In addition to this i have 1.5 year experience as a Founder and CEO of my own IT start-up.
How will they count my experience ? its 6.5 years in overall but with some break. Will they take the max one since its the longest continuous experience?

You only need a year of full-time continuous work experience to be eligible for the FSW program.

You can add all other work experience that you have if you meet the requirement above.

The above is not correct, you can claim points for different NOC's.

This is certain from personal experience and from people I've helped obtain PPR in the past.

It means I'm ok to apply ?
I'm writing because I couldn't find any precise information regarding it.
when I'm calculating my points via ee calculator i get somewhere around 425, but only if i consider my work experience as a 3 years or more.
I don't want to get rejected after the whole process because of this misunderstanding in definition.

Yes, you can apply, but if you're a FSW applicant you have to make sure you have at least 67 out of 100 points to be eligible. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

There was a poster who claimed you could only use one NOC for CRS points but he deleted his post.

Basically what i understood from your answer above is,
I only required to have one year continuous work experience , once i satisfy this requirement the rest are just accumulating together, no matter how big gaps i have between them. So in my case i have two 2.5 years experience as a Software Engineer it means in total i have 5 years experience.
Am i right ?

Yes if the work experience was in the last 10 years.
