I know the answer depends on many things but I would like to hear from members regarding which city in Canada is good for 2 professions: Finance and IT? I am a accounts/finance professional and my younger brother is in IT (his experience is more on project management and IT management side). These days both of us are gathering information etc. He actually is inclined towards Australian immigration but based on what I have learned from people, I keep telling him that Australia is not the right choice for IT professionals because their MODL list or whatever it's called does not have a category where he has a good fit.

Also, unlike Canada's Fast Track option, I don't think Australia has something similar and probably their process is much longer???

Comments from all regarding the above are requested.

Now the 2nd part of my question:

Which city in Canada should be selected for Finance and IT professionals. I have a few friends in Vancouver, Toronto, and Edmonton also. Does anyone have any information regarding salaries, cost of living, etc. etc for different canadian cities.

BTW, is there some web site having a map of Canada, location of cities, etc. etc. :)

Your feedback regarding the 2nd point above will also be appreciated.
