Genera Question regarding Canada Express Entry

Hi All,

I have 2 urgent questions-

1) My Ielts scores are expiring Jan 2021. If in the meantime I get an ITA and submit my docs And post that my Ielts expires. will it affect my application.

2) Also Adding to above point, I might get married post my ITA doc submission via web form , does that affect my score and ielts expiring as new docs would be required to submit post adding my spouse?

1. No.
2. No. However, do not misrepresent your relationship status. You must marry after submitting the application (not just after the ITA) and should not have already met the common-law standard (one year of continuous cohabitation) at the time of application submission.

Hi there! Thanks for the response.
Yeah. I meant post submitting document.
Though, we both currently live in US on work visa and different locations.

though, when we submit a web form for adding a spouse, will my Ielts be frozen from being expired? Cz I think they would give more time to submit the doc and then it could surpass my Ielts expiration date in Jan21 (worst case).

Again, your IELTS expiration date is irrelevant once you have an ITA.
