Hi all

i am PNP applicant got nominated on NOC -2174 (Computer programmers and interactive media developers)
I just got GCSM notes today and in eligibility check officer wrote the following note :

Eligibility status : Review required

"Case Analyst /selection review: EE-M1- PV2 ******A11.2 ASSESSMENT****** Provincial nominee program
applicant. Applicant selected by Saskatchewan with PNC# xxxxxxx under Non-Employer Driven. PNP applicant in primarily NOC - 2174 - Senior Computer Engineer with Public Authority for Applied Education and Training FOSS check: NCB - INTENSIVE ACADEMIC ENGLISH PROG FOR 4 MONTHS FROM MAY@ UNI OF MANITOBA. STATES COMPLETED COMPUTER ENGINEERING IN 2002 FROM ARAB ACADEMY IN EGYPT. STATES WORKING AS COMPUTER ENGINEER IN KUWAIT SINCE 2006. BANK STMNT SHOWS VERY LOW MONTHLY TRANSFER. HIS STUDY PLAN DOES NOT MAKE SENSE GIVEN HIS EDUCATION BACKGROUND & JOB PROSBECTIVE. HE IS YOUGN, UNMARRIED, NOT WELL ESTABLISHED IN KUWAIT, NOT SATISFIED THAT HE HAS SUFFICIENT TIES TO EYGPT OR KUWAIT. REVIEWED DOCS & I AM NOT SATISFIED THAT APLCNT IS A BF TR STUDENT & WOULD DEPART CDA AT THE END OF AN AUTHORIZED STAY. AS SUCH, I AM NOT
SATISFIED THAT REQUIREMENTS ARE MET. NON-GCMS LTR USED.23FEB2012 ASSESSMENT Education: ECA
issuer: WES - Met - Foreign ECA Primarily NOC-4163 Work Experience Currently working as a Senior Computer Engineer - Submitted letter(s) of reference on 27DEC2015. PA has been working with the company between MAR2006 - Present. The duties listed in the letter(s) of reference DO NOT appear to be consistent with the actions in the lead statement under the NOC code selected. As a result, I am NOT satisfied that within the 1O years before the date on which their application for a permanent resident visa is made, they have accumulated, over a continuous period at least one year of full-time work experience as a Computer Programmer and Interactive Media Developer as the primary occupation in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification-4163 as per R75(2) Therefore, PA DOES NOT meets the FSW criteria. PA DOES NOT meet the definition of provincial nominee and selection under PN program. FAMILY MEMBERS PA is married - Marriage Entry Transcript on file One dependent child acompanying Copy of valid passport submitted Meds - Passed"

in this note they mentioned NOC - 4163 (Business development officers and marketing researchers and consultants) twice which is not my NOC code that i applied for.
So , i think the officer take decision according to wrong NOC code (4163) rather than correct one (2174)

i already sent new experience letter written in more details before i got this notes
should i send them new CSE Explaining this concern regrading NOC mismatch? i am worry form refusal.

seniors please advice
thank you

It seems there is some mismatch in your education and work exp.

INTENSIVE ACADEMIC ENGLISH PROG FOR 4 MONTHS FROM MAY@ UNI OF MANITOBA

Did you study English in university of Manitoba? Are you Inland applicant? If not, have you earlier applied for student visa and it got rejected?

one year of full-time work experience as a Computer Programmer and Interactive Media Developer as the primary occupation
Strange, as that's the title for NOC 2174.

ETA: Perhaps the case officer was checking against the incorrect nomination information?

nope, I believe that statement is about an earlier student visa refusal which has got nothing to do with current application.

I believe when you filled your express entry profile the first time, you selected your primary job NOC code as NOC 4163, However you got your nomination and showed your experience in NOC 2174. Did you also submit your reference letter, offer letter etc for NOC 4163 ?

Have a look at your profile again. It sure sounds like you selected 4163 as your primary NOC.

There is a small chance the officer made a mistake but the more likely option is that you selected the wrong code.

If it is your mistake, I would send a CSE explaining the mistake and possibly providing some more proof about your employment quickly, as a refusal seems very likely at this point.

If you are 100% sure that you didnt select 4163 in your profile and it is the mistake of the officer to falsely believe that you did, then sure, send a CSE and explain that you believe that a mistake has been made and send any additional proof you might have to strengthen your case.

should i tell them clearly that i believe my assessment was done based on wrong NOC code ,or it is better to clarify that there is mismatch in noc code with telling them my fears.

Already in CaNaDa !
It's really awful...

You could write them that it seems, according to your GCMS notes, that you have been assessed against the wrong NOC (name the job title of this NOC as well) and that you therefore think the assessment was not accurate.

Good luck ebrahim !! I really hope this issue will be resolved.

Yeah, I would choose a similar approach as well.

Just be open and honest and tell that that you had rquested your GCMS notes and you have reason to believe that your assessment was based on the wrong NOC code.

Wish you the best of luck and hope you can avoid a refusal by trying to clear this up.

You should receive a confirmation letter that your CSE was attached to your file. Once you have that, you know it was received and will be considered along with the rest of your application.

Seems to take a few weeks for most people.
