Gaps in Time

Hello everyone,

I am helping my brother. He has got ITA.

For address history he is filling something like the following (Example):

2018-07-01 to 2018-07-31
2018-06-01 to 2018-06-30
2018-05-01 to 2018-05-31

What should we do for dates between 2018-05-31 to 2018-06-01 and 2018-06-30 to 2018-07-01
Do we need to overlap like the following or the one above works too.

2018-06-30 to 2018-07-31
2018-05-31 to 2018-06-30
2018-05-01 to 2018-05-31

Also please guide for the following similar scenario where only month and year is asked:

2018-07 to 2018-07
2018-06 to 2018-06
2018-05 to 2018-05

or

2018-06 to 2018-07
2018-05 to 2018-06
2018-05 to 2018-05

Address or personal history should not have gaps. So if it's month and day then make sure there are no gaps in days if it's just year and month then you can use 05/2017 after 04/2017 etc ie not skipping a month in between

Use inclusive dates. Option 2 and 4.

What about the dates while he was flying from India to USA? 2 days, how do i enter those?
