Hi,

I have submitted my EE profile through consultant with CRS score of 467 and NOC- 21211.

I have 48 months of experience but it is filled with terrible gaps.

Job 1 - 10/2015 to 06/2016
Gap - 30 months (2 year degree)
Job 2 - 01/2019 to 08/2019
Gap - 10 months (unemployed + covid hire freeze)
Job 3 - 07/2020 to 10/2020
Gap - 1 month (finding new job)
Job 4 - 12/2020 to 12/2021
Gap - 0 months (immediately joining)
Job 5 - 12/2021 to 03/2022
Gap - 5 months (finding job)
Job 6 - 07/2022 to 04/2023
Gap - 8 months till date | currently unemployed | aspiring for Canada Visa

So as you can see, lot of gaps.

When I asked my consultant about this, they bluntly replied it wouldn't affect the application and ignored me.

But I am super suspicious that some red flag will be raised by IRCC.

PLEASE HELP AND ADVISE what I should do.

Thanks,
Freddie

Is this for FSW? As long as you have one year, continuous, full time experience then after that gaps are fine. For EE, you want to increase your score to over 490 or 500.

Thanks for letting me know that I need to increase my score which I guess will have to be through PNP only.

Yes this is for FSW. So it turns out I have 1 job only out of 6 jobs which spans 1 year. Other 5 are < 1 year. And that 1 job is not the first job.

@Naturgrl
So whatever job is for at least one year is your NOC. Again you may not be eligible for any PNP based on score, NOC, not having job offer or family in province.

No. My consultant put NOC Data Scientist because out of 6 jobs 3-4 are data scientist but all those don’t have a continuous 1 year of experience. The job which has 1 year of experience is Business Analyst.
