I have multiple entry TRV up to 2028. I am planning to visit canada during July 2019. I will be staying for 5 months and then visit to my USA friends and relatives for about 15 to 20 days . I will be coming back once again canada. Can I stay another 6 months from the date of the second entry.

For any visit, do not assume that you will be allowed to stay for 6 months at a stretch. How long you are actually allowed to stay will depend on the immigration officer whom you meet at the POE.

Also, a multiple entry TRV which is valid till 2028 does not mean you can leave your home country and stay continuously in Canada until your TRV expires.... by taking short trips to the US. Sooner or later the officer at the POE could refuse you entry or limit your stay if s/he feels you are abusing visitor privileges
