GAP between second College

Hi guys!
Hope someone here can help me pls! ???

So,
I am a full-time student with 1 year permit. My course is going till August, but my permit is valid until 1th of December.
My husband is with an OWP linked to my SP and his permit is valid till 1th of December, too.
I want to apply for a second course but this one will start in January
So my questions are;
1) How to proceed with this GAP of 1 month between the end of the permit and the beginning of the other College?
2) Is there any bridging work permit (or something like that) that we could apply for? So he won't lose his WP during the gap.
3) And as I won't be studying between August and December it means I won't be able to work even though my permit is still valid? Is that correct?

We don't want to do anything wrong or ilegal here so please help us find the best solution :/

1) He'll need to stop working between the time his OWP expires and the time he receives a new one.
2) Bridging Open Work Permits are only available under certain circumstances and this isn't one of them. He'll need to stop working.
3) You'll need to stop working as soon as you stop attending school. You should then change your status to visitor to be able to remain in Canada (without working). You'll need to apply for a new study permit for your January program. You'll be able to start working again once your classes begin again in January.
