My mother recently received a furtherance request. The request was to do a CT scan for a nodule in the lung. Has anyone gone through similar situation before?

It could be anything. Doesn’t matter what another patient’s results are. If the nodule is a result of a serious illness it will likely be a problem if it is not it likely won’t.

I’m sorry to hear that but it is actually quite lucky it was identified Likely earlier than it would have been. Hopefully it has been caught at the initial stages.
