funds under university categoty- need suggestion

Hello guys,
I am going to apply for visa under general category . I have opened gic account and deposited 10000 dollar and also paid first semester fee of university. Now I want to whether this is enough or do I have to show additional savings. If yes then how much. Please advice

try to show funds at least for full first year...

i think the more the better but, i think you also need to disclose the source of money deposited. good luck!
