funds required for a house wife

hi, my parents are applying for visitors visa for Canada and my brother is sponsoring them, My mother is a house wife and she is financially dependent on my father and does not have a bank account. My queries are:
1. how much fund she should write under " funds available for my stay"?
2. what proof she would require to show her financial stability?
