Hello All,

Please help me figure out some money matters!

My total tuition fees for 1 year is 14210 CAD.

I have paid the following:
first sem fees - 7105CAD
GIC - 10025CAD (excluding all other fees)

Now, I am going to show my funds in Indian Rupees. If I show funds (in rupees) that equals 7105 CAD currently for my second semester tuition, will it be enough? How much funds are recommended to be shown, to be on the safer side (so that visa does not get rejected due to lack of funds)?

So, GIC covers the living expenses, first sem fees is paid, so now I need to only show only about 4 lakhs (~7105CAD). Is this right? In FDs, there is around 3.5 lakhs. Last year dad's ITR has around 3-4 lakhs. Can this be shown as funds?

Basically you need to have 14210+10000= 24,210 CAD.
From which you paid 7105+10000= 17,105 CAD
So this amount needs to be in you bank account 24,210-17,105= 7,105 CAD
In Indian ruppees it is 348125 Rs.
However to be on the safe side; show more than 7,105 CAD. Round about 8000 CAD or more.

This is all just an estimate. No one knows what the visa officer decides. We're just here to help you and clear out a few stuff.
Show atleast 3-6 Month bank statement. 4 Month is very reasonable and usually shown by many applicants.
The more balance you show the more chances that they wont reject you because of finances. :p Jk
Good luck with your visa, Brother.
May the odds be in your favor.
