Funds - Property in Canada

I am applying from South Africa and co-own my parents house in British Columbia (they Immigrated 4 years ago). Will the visa office accept this as proof of funds?
I have a 2010 BC property Assessment notice with my name on it and the current estimated value of the property. We still owe some on the property but the paid for portion is at least two thirds (I have documentation to show the exact amount).

I would appreciate some advice

Some visa offices like U.K. accept property for proof of funds while other visa offices do not. You should check your visa office specific requirements to be sure if they accept property as POF.

No, Pretoria will not accept it as proof of funds.
