Funds for EE in the account of spouse

Hi,

I am principal applicant - my spouse is dependent.
but all the funds are on his account - will it be the problem??
I've read somewhere that principal applicant should have funds on his/her account
or have mutual account with spouse.
we have different ones

is it true?

No issue as long as he is accompanying. You can even add a NOC (no objection certificate) if you feel like it.

Agree with DelPiero07. As long as your spouse is accompanying you, all the funds can be in his/her account.
