What figure should I enter in the application form for funds available for stay? I mean do I have to write the funds including GIC+Bank Balance+ valuation of property?

Also, Currently i'm not working so should i mention " not working" in the "Current Occupation"?

My consultant said me include only liquid amount in this field like your bank balance or ant saving certificate or other .. property value will not be included because property is an asset not fund (money). ... I dont know about GIC if it is liquid-able then you must include this amount in this tab ...

I dont think this is a big issue. I just mentioned the amount of funds needed for my 2 yrs stay in canada which is CAD 20,000

Living: 1-year Living Cost i.e $10,000 is enough
Others: other expenses like travel from your home country to Canada, etc.... i.e $5000 is enough

Total: Their Total SUM

Funds Available: LIQUID CASH available for your financial need (GIC + Bank) and NOT THE PROPERTY WORTH/VALUATION
