Funding for student visa: Do I need to show funding for tuition for entire prog

Hi everyone,

I am a student from Pakistan and I recently got into a 2 year masters program at University of Ontario Institute of Technology. I need to apply for my student visa now but I can't figure out how much funding I need to show. Specifically, do I need to show funding for tuition for my entire two years of study or is it OK for visa purposes if I show funding for only one year. I know that in addition to tuition I need to show $10000 for my living expenses.

1. First year tuition, $10K for living expenses, $2/3 K for travel expenses.
