Funding for course

Hi everyone, looking for some advice.

I am currently in Canada on an IEC visa. I am applying for a study visa as I want to do a course over here. For funding, do I need to contact student finance from the UK? As that is where I am from, and if I was applying from back home I am presuming that is what I would do anyway? Or do I have to apply for student finance from Canada?

Uk has nothing to do with either approving a study permit or anything to do with funding. You have to fund study yourself as an international student so be prepared to fund yourself approx 18k cdn course fees and 10 k cdn living per year.
