Fund Requirement for student visa for canada

Hi everyone,

Can any one guide me how much is fund requirement and how long we have to keep the fund in bank accounts in order to satisfy the requirement.
How if we show them study loan approval for whole amount? will it work.

well the basic fund requirements are as follows
1.)$10000 living expenses either in form of saving or loan
2.)full payment of first year fees


you have to fulfill the second option at any cost there are ways of fulfiiling the fund requirements

1.you can show the $10000 in form of saving if u have sufficient funds
2.you can transfer the funds in kotak mahindra bank in chandigarh they will open ur a/c in a bank at canada sry i dnt knw the spelling of the name of the bank there its sumthing lyk scotcshia bank
3.you can have a loan offer letter for living expense then after getting visa u can cancel the loan
4.you can pay half fees throughur own funds and half frm loan
5.you can pay the full fees through loan and show the living expenese frm loan as well

Suppose I have paid 1st year complete fee ( 13,000 CAN ) . And then i show to the Visa office my statement of fund in my own country e.g ( 20,000 CAN )

you have have to show $10000 CAN ,either in the form of Loan or GIC (no other source is acceptable)
yes you can show half from yours side and half from loan ,but i suggest GO for any one only.
Don't confuse them.be sure and short..
PAying /Showing by GIC..increases the chance if VISA..
