Just got AOR letter
Dear Ms.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker, which was initially submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The CIO recommended your application for further assessment at a visa office and sent you a letter requesting that you submit a complete application package to this office. We have now received your submission.
Our office has created a file for you with the file number pasted above. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence with our office.
Before your application can be placed in processing, our office will make a final determination as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the determination as well as a refund.
If your application is determined to be eligible for processing, processing will begin on a priority basis.

This is from the letter, please let me know as soon as you get AOR letter, and whether it looks like mine.

i too have send my full application package to LONDON CHC on 2nd dec 2009 but still no news whether they got it or not. i have sebd thru ARAMEX and their site shows received signed by E BOKPE.

Congratulations for the progress. I will update you on this forum as soon as i get any communication from local visa office.

I am waiting for the Buffalo office approval.

Hi amoroso.
Yes you are right its a little bit confusing, I tried to fill by their form, anyway.
I sent my applications to NS Sidney on June 18th, 2009, got my first AOR on September 1st. Then submitted full application to visa office on December 4th and got my second AOR on December 15th.
You can visit www.cic.gc.ca, open immigration and on the right side you will see "Check My Application Status", but you have to use the first file number that you got from CIO office.
