Thank you for starting this thread. I have sent full docs to London, UK Visa Office on 17-March-2010.

My e-cas status changed this week to "Received by Visa Office" and that's the only update. I am still waiting for 2nd AOR. I know that London Visa Office is very very slow. Manila and New Delhi are very fast.

Congratulations on 2nd AOR! And wishing you good luck as your app progresses further.

hi amay. under what NOC are you? well, it's kinda weird though because my e-cas status is still cannot be found.. haha. i tried 2 different file number..

hi deep. i think it will take a few weeks before our ecas will be updated or will be processed. I checked mine and it is still "cannot be found"...

i sent my full documents on March 3rd 2010 and still havent received an AOR from london visa office??
i have one question though, how do we receive the AOR , through normal post or through email...and my e case status does not open either....any reason to worry??

lova, i don't know how long does the visa office in london takes to receive your documents but reading other people's posts, i think you should have gotten yours by now. You will receive it via email so check your junkmails too.. your ecas status willbe updated after a week or more

Hello Friends,

This week I received 2nd AOR - my file number from London Visa Office arrived yesterday. It came by postal mail. They have mentioned that it takes on average 12 months to process and advised me to contact only if I do not hear from them in 8 months. I really hope that London Visa Office should gather more speed and process the cases faster.

I sent my full application to CHC Islamabad on 27th March. It might have reached their today. After 1st April CHC Islamabad wont be processing Economic Class Immigration cases, Pakistanis will send their full documents to London. I am not sure whether they will process my application in Islamabad or will move it to London. I think additional burdon of Pakistani Applications might slow down the CHC London further.

My full doc application is reached to Buffalo Visa office on March 24. When should I expect to get any e-mail or post about receiving my document?

I am checking status using file no. sent by CIO, and it's not showing received full application by local visa office... How much time it takes to update to document received, any idea? My documents were received by Buffalo office on 24 MArch....
