I sent the embassy an email, got a cold reply that nothing changed

my lawyer adivsed to wait until the end of the month we should hear from them if not then will send an inquiry
cant wait anymore
it is frustrating as if holding all plans
any updates dear friends at least some of us should have some good news this week
last time my ecas got updated on friday/thursday nothing yet for this week

nothing on my side,

some applicants in another forums sent emails inquiring about there status, and got the same cold reply back.

I cant count more than 7 to 9 applicants in all the forums I visited, its depressing to know that they didnt issue a visa since 2 months, none of the applicants got his visa within the 4 months period where 1/3 should get a reply of any kind, hope that processing times are not stretching again, hope to get a reply soon.

in my side, the last document they requested was delivered since a week, they requested these documents and if not received within the time frame of 60 days, a decision will be made, well that means that they are ready for a decesion, the 60 days is over, and nothing happened.

just take a deep breath
my 45 days notice long gone and yes whether 45 for me or 60 for you a decision should have been made by now
i am wondering how many staff they have and on how many cases they work per day/month
no movement lately almost for any damascus applicants which makes me wonder
I have many plans that I cant do until this process is over
my lawyer advised not to send many inquiries becasue every time you request info they add it to your file and then back to the bottom of the rack which we dont want to happen
as for me I am adding a personel letter along with the lawyer inquiry on aug 30 and we will see what will happen
i will keep you updated

please have patience, if you got your 2nd AOR then only a dooms day could stop your file from going to a process by a Immig Officer. Most of the cases PR applications see success. Think how many applications prior to 2008 are pending and what those people are doing for years now.

If somebody is having family and he has mentioned that the family members will not accompanying him with his application do he need to show POF for as per all family members or just single applicant POF. as per my knowledge only for applicant bcoz you r nt taking ur family along with you.

The applicant has to show POF for only those members who will be accompanying him to Canada, not for those who will not go or accompany later. If he is going alone, he will show POF for only one person. Hope that helps.

Please add my case to the list.I submitted full documents on April 8th ,2010 and received my second AOR on June 8th 2010.My Case still reads ''Received by visa office''.Accra office

Received a letter today from London Office with new file number, in-short letter states that they have got my application and before application can be processed further determination need to be made as whether i am eligible or not...

Is this 2nd AOR or a just a letter that my documents has been received by London Office ?
