Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me understand my current PR application status.
I applied under FSW through Sydney, NS on May 23rd, 2014. Since submitting the application, I have not received any correspondence, email or letter, from CIC regarding PER or any other status updates.
Since about Oct 2014 I am able to view my file status online through the CIC website, where it states that my file is 'IN PROCESS' (I basically just kept trying to log in with my unique client ID listed on my work permit until, one day in early October, my file status was loaded/visible).
Should I be worried that I have received zero correspondence from CIC or is the fact that my status is 'IN PROCESS' indicative of that "Based on review of your complete application package, it has been determined that your application is eligible for processing. Processing has begun.", as it is defined on the CIC website?
Can I assume that all is in order and that the next step in the process is 'DECISION MADE'?
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide!
