DO you know that as an Australian citizen with a degree in mechanical engineering from Australian university, do I need to take IELTS for the federal skilled worker immigration to Canada.

I understand that if your academics was done using English Language........you might not need the test,but am still investigating since i have not submitted my application.I intend to use an immigration agent in Canada,don't know if its necessary?

Nothing is taken for granted by CIC....everyone needs to take IELTS irrespective of country official language otherwise one may loose points for language test.
