FSW Work supporting documents

Hello everyone,

I'm applying as a FSW. I have an employment letter that has all the necessary details on it but I have no supporting documentation I can present (which I know is not essential).
I was wondering how often does CIC ask for extra documentation like pay stubs, tax returns etc. Is that a common practice? Can people share their experiences?

Should I state in my application that I'm unable to present them beforehand or just submit the employment letter and hope for the best, that they don't ask for anything else?

Submit the reference letter like that bearing in mind that you may be called for an interview or asked to provide pay stubs etc. A friend of mine who applied under FSW 2014 and submitted only a reference letter was later contacted and asked to provide her pay slips.

Thank you Anya. I'll just submit my employment letter like you said.

And if anyone was able to go through the process with just the reference letter and was not asked to provide anything else, please share. Looking for encouragement anywhere I can find it.
