i am applying under FSW prog..i have few queries regarding proof of funds...what exactly can we show as POF, other than bank statement..can an investment in some business, some land or provident fund be shown as proof of funds??

The funds have to be liquid / accessible. So investments in property or a business aren't accepted for POF.

and what about land and provident fund?

I think provident fund is allowed but not Land.

land is immovable property.

Proof of funds for CIC: only valid forms are bank saving account or a Fixed deposit account. Provident funds are not ideal as they cannot be liquidated easily for use due to the various formalities.
any funds shown must be readily available to the applicant at any time.
CIC will not accept valuation of property as that is an immovable asset.

give +1 if the reply is useful.
