Hi Guys,
Just a quick question for my peace of mind.:D
From what I have learnt so far from this thread, it seems most of us are getting close to that time when changes might start to happen.
If there happens to be a change in any of the status, will you receive a message in your CIC account? or is it a case of checking your account every time for changes.

@comfortablynumb @gurik what do you guys think?

I received no email for BGC IP1>NA . We cannot be sure about receiving emails for further updates. Its always good to check the account for any update instead of relying on email.

Hi all,

I have received my job letter from my employer but they didnt mention my duties that i handled. They mentioned only my roles and designations. Wat should i do?
Here is a complete solution for your query:

For your employment records, you'll need these:-

- Work experience letter: Issued by your company.

- Job description letter: Your company/HR/manager would most probably not issue you this letter. Best bet is to ask one of your colleagues/seniors working in that company to sign this letter for you. It's a valid doc by IRCC. Just print a simple paper with your job duties and get it signed by one of your colleagues/seniors working in that company.

You should also submit these, along with the above,
- Pay stubs (first and last 2 - 3 months of your employment)
- Income tax certificate. [such as one issued by IT department of India (Form 16)] for the years of your employment.
The above 2 are not mandatory docs, but they will definitely give some extra firm evidence of your employment status.

For the format of work experience letter-

For format of JD letter,

Hope it helps.

Hey guys,

My girlfriend is applying from the US. She got her status updated for the first time. AOR was early April (3rd I think) It currently looks like this:

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.

Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics We do not need you fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Final decision
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

So what stage would this be in, and what timeline should I be expecting?

Tracker update-
Sadly no FSW-O (april aor) with the exception of superlucky human neidrex, has got PPR yet, hope it breaks with july beginning.
In April AOR many CEC applicants got PPR at 50-70 days post AOR.
But for May, there is no such difference in CEC and FSW-O timelines as much (as per tracker), FSW-O as of today are getting meds passed at 48 day to 50 day intervals, whereas CEC are still waiting. Don't know what CIC is upto.....
I request everyone, (even the silent readers) to please update the tracker, and also here regularly, so we can see any updates, it helps in keeping idea of realistic timelines.

Hoping for them to speed up the processes.

It seems she has is in the IP1 stage now.
She should expect her BG check to be Not applicable within 5 days.
After this, she would get BG as IP2, that is around 30 - 40 days from NA status.
PPR would arrive anywhere b/w 2 - 15 days from IP2.

Important: This is only an estimate timeline a/c to current applications being processed. Each case is different, and the time can be short or long depending on individual case.

How do applicants get to know their Visa Office?
By sending an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

This is the email format they require:

IMPORTANT: You must provide us with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:

* Surname and Given name(s)
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident)

Thanks! I also heard somewhere that FSW-O applicants only have one IP state as opposed to IP1/2. Is that false then?

hi i might get one as i was in canada for more than 6 months cumulatively.

how long were you there for and for how long?

i read somewhere that they normally only request when you have the same names as criminals and hence they need your fingerprints. not too sure about that..??
