i got FSW ITA in March as i was eligible for both FSW and CEC
but unfortunately my company had massive lay off so i lost my job too
now i started working as independent contractor for 3 months.
will it effect my Permanent Residency case as i am working as self employed now?
how can i notify CIC about my this contract ?

There was a thread about a few months ago. I believe someone spoke to the CIC and the good news was that if you had the job when you applied and then turned in you application you were fine since it was accurate info at the time. However, you still have to notify them. You should be able to do this via the web submission for Case specific enquiry. Here's the link to the CIC help page explaining this:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=052&t=3

It says you can do this if you have a change in employment.
