FSW Inland Proof of Fund - Can I withdraw cash when ECAS In process?

Any chance I can withdraw the fund from the bank. My application is IN PROCESS and I got AOR on September 12.

Hi Robin,
As per CIC, it is not mandatory to show POF for Inland applicants. If you have already shown the funds it is good. in my view it can be withdrawn.

It is recommended to maintain minimum POF until pr. Anything above that can be used.

That's totally wrong. As per CIC, you do not have to show that you have these funds if:

you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

So if you applied without a job offer supported by LMIA or if you don't have work permit, you still need POF. Officer may ask you for POF at the time of landing.
